Client Pain Area

The client did not have a system to let the visitors quickly understand what services are offered and let visitors easily gain more information about those services and client. Client required some functionality like album management, advertisement management, my space management, upload image, corporate corner, contest & awards and events in the city.

Business Objectives

Client wanted to develop a photo sharing portal where visitors can create their profile, make friends group wise, send invitations to friends, accept friend invitations, upload their photos category wise, manage photos category wise, manage friends group wise, participate in contest and events, share photos among different friend groups, see wall of other friends, participate in corporate contests etc. For backend, admin should manage groups, photos, occupations, mobile devices, invitations, events in city, digital uploads, photo categories, contests and awards, corporate, competitions and the content of the site like news, testimonials, FAQs etc. from the backend easily. Client wanted to develop the website based on an open source content management.

The Solution

Silver Touch has proposed the website to be developed on Joomla Open source content management system. The Joomla is a feature rich stable content management system and provides default functionality for authoring and publishing content and article management. In this proposed solution,

  • Administrator will have the ability to manage groups, photos, occupations, mobile devices, invitations, events in city, digital uploads, photo categories, contests and awards, corporate competitions and the content of the site like news, testimonials, FAQs etc.
  • The admin will be able to select best photo in events and contests
  • The website visitors can create their profile, make friends group wise, send invitations to friends, accept friend invitations, upload their photos category wise, managephotos category wise, manage friends group wise, participate in contest and events, share photos among different friend groups, view wall of other friends, participate in corporate contests etc.
  • Corporate users will have special access from frontend to create their corporate competitions and users and select best photo of corporate competition.
