Position Overview

This role is ideal for someone passionate about driving business growth, with the opportunity to advance into management and leadership positions. Reporting directly to the Sales Head and CEO, you’ll play a pivotal role in identifying and nurturing new business opportunities while strengthening existing accounts. This role does require you to travel to meet new and current clients and attend trade shows and Business Conferences/summits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for lead generation, with a focus on Net New Names.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities that align with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Conduct in-depth research to identify key stakeholders within target organizations.
  • Strategize independently and collaboratively to address deal-specific challenges.
  • Work closely with Pre-Sales, Solution Architects, and Business Analysts, to craft compelling sales approaches.
  • Drive increased sales volumes and enhanced deal size.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, including leads, prospects, communications, and accounts in CRM.

Skills and Competencies:

Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; adept at delivering impactful presentations and follow-ups.

Interpersonal Influence: Skilled in leveraging both rational and emotional drivers to steer negotiations in your favor.

Networking: Ability to quickly build connections with the right stakeholders and foster collaboration with internal teams.

Ownership: Comprehensive accountability for the entire sales cycle, from qualification to solution discussion, proposal creation, and deal closure.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 6 years’ experience meeting and exceeding sales targets in B2B or SaaS marketing for enterprise software solutions.
  • Proven expertise in selling ERP, RPA, EDI, e-commerce, or cloud solutions.
  • Prior success in competing against and winning deals over ERP competitors like NetSuite or Microsoft is highly desirable.
  • Experience in industries such as pharmaceuticals, wholesale distribution, manufacturing, and professional services is a plus.
